Marvel Knights: The Wolverine Collection

The kids and I recently watched Marvel Knights: The Wolverine Collection. Shout! Factory sent me the 5-DVD set for review on my dad blog. The kids and I really enjoyed the Marvel Knights: The Wolverine Collection. The stories were interesting and gritty. The 5-DVD set is an excellent gift for fans of Wolverine. Marvel Knights: The Wolverine Collection is available now. It has a list price of $29.93, but you can currently purchase the DVD set on Amazon for $16.99. Note: even though the stories are animated (motion comic book style), the DVD set is probably intended for older kids and adults. There are a lot of bloody scenes and some of the content is suggestive.

Superhero LCD and LED HDTV for Super Geeks

Super geek dads and moms should check out the RTC23 line of Marvel superhero LCD and LED HDTVs from Roundtable Concepts. The superhero TVs don’t come with any super powers, but they do feature pictures of superheroes at the bottom of the frame. And when you turn on the TV, superhero characters appear on the TV screen for about 8 seconds. Other than that, there’s really nothing super about the TV’s. And now that I think about it, the eight-second delay when you turn on the TV might be a little annoying after a while.

Currently, the super heroes featured are Ironman, Hulk, Elektra, Storm, She Hulk, Silver Surfer, Captain America, Thing, Invisible Woman, Thor, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, and Ghost Rider.
