Hello, dads and moms. It’s going to be super hot this weekend — close to 100 on Saturday and Sunday. Just my luck. I’m installing roof shingles this weekend. Anyways, I have two winner announcements today. But first, below are the current contests on my dad blog.
The kids and I saw an early screening of Zootopia on Monday. The new animated film from Walt Disney Animation Studio is about a society where animals from every environment live together in harmony. But the peace is shattered when some of the animals disappear without a trace. The kids and I loved the movie. The story was good, it was funny, and the main characters were very likable. I think Zootopia is going to be a big hit with both kids and adults alike. Zootopia opens in theaters today. Continue reading to learn six things about Zootopia.
There’s a new Lego Star Wars movie out on DVD. It’s called Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales. I received the DVD for review on my dad blog. We loved it. We’re big fans of Lego Star Wars and the new DVD did not disappoint. The stories take place after Return of the Jedi and before The Fore Awakens. As you can probably guess, the central characters are R2-D2 and C-3PO. They are two of our favorite Star Wars characters. The 110-minute DVD features the two droids in five 22-minute episodes. In addition to the fun episodes, the DVD also includes an exclusive trading card set. As I mentioned already, Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales is available now on DVD.
Hello, dads and moms. I have to work tomorrow. Ugggh. Before I go, I have two winner announcements tonight.
Walt Disney Home Entertainment is re-releasing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on Blu-ray and DVD this Tuesday. To help kick things off, I’m giving away two Snow White prize packs on my dad blog. An apple is a key element of the classic Disney film. So to enter my sweepstakes, share a favorite apple recipe in the comments area below. This is a quick giveaway — contest ends at 5pm (Pacific time) this Thursday (February 4th). I will need the winners’ mailing address by Friday morning so please check your email Thursday evening and get the info back to me ASAP.
Two of my children (ages seven and nine) and I saw an early screening of Wreck-It Ralph (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures) last week. The wreck-tacular 3D film is about a video game character that doesn’t want to be the bad guy anymore. We loved the animated movie and thought it was funny. Wreck-It Ralph opens in theaters today.
