Snatched Blu-ray Review

Snatched | Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment

Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn make an unexpected team-up in Snatched. The team-up is unexpected because I have not seen Goldie Hawn in a movie in a long time. She was so funny back in her day. In her new film, she’s the cautious mom of Amy’s character, who is young and adventurous. The movie is about the two of them trying to escape from some kidnappers in South America. The story is a little predictable, but it’s funny and the dialog is witty at times. Snatched is available now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD. Note: the movie is rated R for crude sexual content, brief nudity, and language throughout.

5 Things About Ice Age: Collision Course

Ice Age: Collision Course

Ice Age: Collision Course is the fifth animated movie in the Ice Age series. This time around, the gang must stop an asteroid from destroying the Ice Age. If you’ve seen any of the Ice Age films, you can easily guess how the story will end. I thought Ice Age: Collision Course was entertaining. My kids loved it too and thought it was very funny (especially the Scrat: Spaced Out and Scratasia featurettes). BTW, I think many parents can relate to the secondary storyline involving the relationship between a father and his daughter. Ice Age: Collision Course is available now on Digital HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD. Continue reading to learn five things about PR-rated Ice Age: Collision Course.

Ice Girls DVD Review – it’s not just an ice skating story

Ice Girls is a movie about two ice skaters. They start out as friends, but soon become intense rivals because only one of them can go to the national skating competition. Even though the story has an ice skating setting, the film is actually about balancing friendship and following your dream. The PG-rated Ice Girls is available now on DVD (includes digital HD). Note: Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment sent me a movie for review on my blog. As always, the opinions expressed are mine and I am not obligated to write a positive review.
