At the recent TNT Portland event, I talked with a couple of people about the connected car. New cars today come with cool tech like rear view camera system or Bluetooth technology. But if you have an older car like most people (including me), you don’t need to purchase a new car to get the latest in-vehicle technology. Owners of older cars can actually have the latest connected-car technologies installed in their current vehicles. If you’re planning on visiting the Rose City, be sure to stay at The Westin in downtown Portland, Oregon. It’s located within a few blocks of Nordstrom, Pioneer Courthouse Square, MAX light rail, the Portland Art Museum, and Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall. And the trendy Pearl district is just a short stroll away — or better yet, take the streetcar to check out Pearl’s local restaurants and stylish boutiques. I have not stayed at the Westin Portland (yet), but was recently treated to a quick tour and lunch during the TNT Portland event last week. Lunch was amazing and the hotel is beautiful and cozy!
I have a great giveaway for you Leverage fans out there. Thanks to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, I’m giving away two sets of Leverage Season 4 DVD (4-disc) on my dad blog. I have not seen Leverage (I don’t have cable), but I’ve heard it’s a good show. The TNT drama is about a gang of thieves, grifters and con artists who use their skills to help innocent victims by catching the bad guys. Leverage was actually featured on our local news recently because the show is filmed in Portland, Oregon.
