I’m one of the dad bloggers featured in the McCormick & Schmick’s Deserving Dads Facebook contest. If I win, I get 12 free dinners for two. And because I’m a contestant, McCormick & Schmick’s is also giving away a $50 dining certificate on my dad blog. In addition to their seafood restaurants, McCormick & Schmick’s eateries also include William Douglas Steakhouse, Jake’s Grill, Heathman Restaurant and Bar, M & S Grill, Spenger’s Fresh Fish Grotto, and the Boathouse. Their contest started yesterday and ends on Father’s Day. Please help me out and vote for me (my wife really loves seafood)!
The winners of the McCormick & Schmick Giveaway on my dad blog are Susan (s2s2) and Lydia (laletraris). Their favorite seafood dishes are Hawaiian Ahi Tuna and filet and crab combination. Thanks to McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants (Twitter | Facebook), they will each receive two $10 gift certificates. Congrats and bon appétit to Susan and Lydia. Thank you everyone for sharing your favorite seafood dishes. Have a fun weekend everyone!

The generous people over at P.F. Chang’s China Bistro sent me a $50 gift card. Awesome! They will also send a $100 gift card to a lucky reader of this dad blog. Double awesome!
As you probably can tell by their name, P.F. Chang’s is an Asian restaurant. Actually, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro is a chain of 190 upscale casual dining restaurants. Upscale and casual? When I saw that on their website, I was skeptical too. When I think of upscale, I’m picturing a jacket, tie, and an experience far from casual. However, when we dined there, I was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was indeed both upscale and casual. The restaurant was spectacular and no one even glared at us when my kids were a little too loud.
