Netflix has another new series. It’s called Popples. I have not seen the series yet, but I’m sure my kids will want to add Popples to their Netflix list. If the characters in the animated show are anything like the plushie toys we received, I’m positive my kids will love the new Netflix show. Thanks to Popples, I’m giving away a prize pack on my dad blog. The prize pack consists of a Round Table Pizza gift card and some Popples goodies. The Popples plush toys will be available on Walmart.com in mid-November and will be available in stores in December. BTW, Popples is streaming now on Netflix.
Entertainment One sent me their new Peppa Pig: My Birthday Party DVD for review on my dad blog. I’m also giving a copy of the DVD plus a cute plush toy. This was the first time my kids and I have seen Peppa Pig. The animation is simplistic, but my kids found the episodes funny. The target audience is children ages two to seven, but even my ten year old son thought the shows were funny. Peppa Pig: My Birthday Party DVD is available now. It has a list price of $14.98. However, Amazon is currently selling the DVD for $12.99.
Here’s another holiday gift idea for a little one — a cuddly Flashlight Friend. Idea Village Products sent me one of the Flashlight Friends for review on my dad blog. My pre-schooler loves it. The item looks and feels like a plush toy, but it’s also a flashlight. Kids can use the flashlight as a night light, for reading or playing games in the dark. Flashlight Friends retail for about $20.
Thanks to 4 Sunflowers Media, I’m giving away a Fuzzwippers prize pack on my dad blog. The prize pack consists of a Fuzzwipper plush toy and two Fuzzwipper books: Fuzzwippers Find Good Listeners and Hello, We’re the Fuzzwippers. I reviewed the two Fuzzwipper books previously and I think both books are excellent gifts for kids ages three to seven). The company also has a third title coming out this Friday: Fuzzwippers Play Fair.
