I saw the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last night. I thought it was awesome, but some people might not like it because it’s not a fun film. The movie is essentially a long drama (153 minutes) with superheroes as the main characters. Most of the action is at the end of the story and there isn’t any humor like you see in the Marvel movies. Batman vs Superman (DC Comics) is just a good drama. In other words, it’s like the last three Batman movies. One word of advice, you should see this PG-13 rated film as soon as possible before someone ruins the surprise ending for you. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Warner Bros) opens in theaters Thursday evening. Continue reading to learn six things about the movie.

This week’s new movies include Man of Steel (Henry Cavill), This is the End (James Franco, Jonah Hill, Seth Rogen), The Guillotines, and Hatchet III. I saw Man of Steel and loved it. I don’t think the other films stand a chance against the new Superman movie. Read on for a summary of the new movie releases for this weekend.
My son and I saw an advance screening of Man of Steel earlier in the week. It’s not a perfect film, but we loved it. Man of Steel is a reboot of the Superman series. Clark Kent is still a baby that crash landed on Earth from the planet Krypton. But in the reboot, Clark Kent isn’t the golly gee whiz klutz that we are use to seeing. He’s a reflective person that is trying to act like everyone else even though he’s burning inside to save everyone he can. A lot of the Superman storyline has been changed, but it’s refreshing to see a different take on Superman. Man of Steel (Warner Bros. Pictures) opens today in theaters everywhere on Earth and in the Phantom Zone. Read on to find out about the seven things you should know about the new Superman movie.
Are you guys excited about the new Superman movie coming out this Friday? My son and I saw an early screening of Man of Steel (Warner Bros.) earlier in the week. We loved it! As you can probably guess, my kids and I are superhero fanboys. That’s why we were so excited when Mattel sent us a sample of their new Man of Steel toys for review on my dad blog. The Superman toys are awesome!
