I recently watched The Choice on DVD. The Choice is about two young people falling in love. But then tragedy strikes, and one of them is forced to make a very difficult choice. The film is actually another love story by Nicholas Sparks. In my opinion, it’s a good one. So if you’re in the mood for a love story, then this is the movie for you. The Choice (Lionsgate) is available now on digital HD, and will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on May 3rd. Note: The Choice is rated PG-13. There’s a couple of implied sex scenes in the film. Otherwise the movie should be fine for most kids.
My little girl is turning five this week. Like many dads and moms, I feel like the five years went by way too quickly.
Then I snap out of it and realize the Little Monkey has been tormenting me for over 157,788,000 seconds. She’s so cute and very bright, but she’s also incredibly stubborn and very emotional
like her mom. If I should try to console her when she’s in one of her terrible moods, the little monster would rip my heart out, grind it up in a blender, drink it like a smoothie, and burp. Then she’ll put on her sad face and has the nerve to tell me I don’t love her because I don’t have a heart.
Valentine’s Day is about love and with four young children around, there’s a lot of love in our family. We are blessed.
