Ghostbusters is available now on Blu-ray and DVD. To help promote the release, Walmart, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Mars, Wrigley and Kellogg’s are teaming up for the annual Boo It Forward campaign. The idea is to make a bundle of goodies, and then secretly deliver it to someone. The recipient then plays it forward by putting together their own little treat bundle and secretly giving it to someone else.
New Blu-rays and DVDs this week include Ghostbusters (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig), The Legend of Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård), Ice Age: Collision Course (giveaway), The Infiltrator (Bryan Cranston, Diane Kruger), and Blood Father (Mel Gibson). The Secret Life of Pets remained in first place at the box office by grossing another $50.8 million over the weekend. The rebooted Ghostbusters opened in second place with $46.0 million. Looks like another busy weekend at the theater.
