As many parents know, How to Train Your Dragon 2 (DreamWorks and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment) was released on Blu-ray and DVD last week. It’s a fun movie. We saw the animated film at the theater last summer and again last weekend during our family movie night. In addition to seeing the film again, we had dragon snacks (popcorn, cookies, fruit snacks, Goldfish, juice boxes) and did some fun activities. Actually, we ate snacks while we watched the movie and then did some activities after the film. The whole family had a good time. We loved the movie, enjoyed the snacks, and had fun with the dragon activities.
The kids and I watched the sequel to How to Train Your Dragon over the weekend. The animated film is entertaining and will appeal to both kids and parents. In our case, we had already seen the Dragon 2 movie at the theater last June. We loved it then and still love it now. I actually prefer to watch the movie at home because then I can pause for snacks and bathroom breaks. BTW, How to Train Your Dragon 2 is the second installment in the trilogy. The third movie will be released in 2016. How to Train Your Dragon 2 (DreamWorks and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment) is available now on Blu-ray and DVD. Continue reading to learn eight things about the animated movie.
The year of the dragon continues with the latest DreamWorks Dragons DVD. Over the weekend, the kids and I saw four episodes of Dragons: Defenders of Berk Part 1. My kids and I really enjoy the DreamWorks Dragons series. The stories are interesting, the animation is good, there are a variety of human and dragon characters, and it features the original voice talent from the film. Dragons: Defenders of Berk Part 1 is available now on DVD. The new title includes ten episodes on two discs. It has a list price of $19.98, but you can currently purchase it on Amazon for $14.99.
Good morning, dads and moms. I’m taking the kids to see an early screening of The Muppets today. According to my pre-schooler, who has never seen the Muppets, he doesn’t want to go because he thinks it will be boring. Before I drag the little guy with me, I have three winner announcements this morning. But first, here are the current sweepstakes running on my blogs. Note: unless stated otherwise, anyone in the USA can enter contests on my Portland blog.
My kids and I love Kung Fu Panda and Monsters vs Aliens. If your kids love them too, then today might be your lucky day. Thanks to DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, I’m giving away two DVDs on my dad blog: Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness – The Scorpion Sting and Monsters Vs Aliens: Cloning Around. Both titles would be great additions to your Halloween movies collection. The new Kung Fu Panda and Monsters vs Aliens DVDs are available now at a store near you.
Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Dreamworks sent me parts one and two of Dragons: Riders of Berk DVDs. The two-volume DVD set follows the original How to Train Your Dragon characters in the village of Berk. My kids love the new Dragons: Riders of Berk DVDs and I think most kids will love the new series too — especially if they are fans of the feature film. Dragons: Riders of Berk – Part 1 and Dragons: Riders of Berk – Part 2 DVDs are available now for $19.98. However, you can currently purchase them on Amazon for less than $13 each.
Good news for kids. Dragons: Riders of Berk Volumes 1 and 2 will be out on DVD this Tuesday (July 23rd). The two-volume DVD follows the original How to Train Your Dragon characters in the town of Berk. And thanks to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, I’m giving away both the Dragons: Riders of Berk – Part 1 and Dragons: Riders of Berk – Part 2 DVDs on my dad blog.
Check out the new movie trailer for Delivery Man below. I’m one of 533 bloggers premiering the trailer online for the first time. The number 533 is special because in the film, the main character (played by Vince Vaughn) finds out he’s the biological father of 533 children. Yikes!
