Looks like spring break is a slow week for new DVDs and Blu-rays. New releases this week include The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson), Daddy’s Home (Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell), and Monster High: Great Scarrier Reef (animated). My older kids and I will want to see the conclusion to the Hunger Games (review), but my youngest child is a big fan of the Monster High series. Big shocker — Star Wars: The Force Awakens topped the box office again. Over the weekend it grossed another $90.2 million. Daddy’s Home remained in second place at the box office with $29.2 million. Daddy’s Home But the Force Takes Joy Away at the Box Office

Star Wars: The Force Awakens blasted the competition again. It grossed another $149.2 million over the weekend and became the fastest movie to gross a billion dollars worldwide.
