Santa’s Little Helpers Helping at Home

Santa's Little Helper

Santa’s Little Helpers are at our house. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment sent my two youngest kids some t-shirts, hats, and ornaments. Aren’t my little helpers cute? As you can see in the photos on this page, Santa’s Little Helpers have been helping around the house. I think they’ve made Santa’s nice list this year. BTW, Santa’s Little Helper is available now on DVD and Digital HD — just in time for the holidays.

Nerf Rebelle Codebreaker Crossbow Blaster – holiday gift idea Hasbro

Nerf Rebelle Codebreaker Crossbow Blaster

Still looking for a gift idea for a girl? How about the Nerf Rebelle Codebreaker Crossbow Blaster. Thanks to movies like the Hunger Games and Brave, my kids are into bows and arrows. Don’t worry parents, the arrows are actually soft foam darts. Obviously dads and moms need to tell their kids not to aim the crossbow at someone’s face. BTW, it’s classified as a girl toy on the Hasbro website, but I think it’s fine for boys too.

4 Things About Santa’s Little Helper DVD

Santa's Little Helper DVD

The kids and I recently watched Santa’s Little Helper. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and WWE Studios sent me the DVD for review on my dad blog. The movie is essentially about two people trying to become Santa’s Little Helper. The story is predictable, but we enjoyed it. The film reminded me of the family night movies I watched as a kid. Santa’s Little Helper is available now on DVD and Digital HD — just in time for Christmas. Continue reading to learn four things about Santa’s Little Helper.

6 Hasbro Toy Gift Ideas

Playmation Marvel's Avengers Starter Pack

Halloween is over, Thanksgiving is coming up, and Christmas is just around the corner. If you’re already thinking about what to get your kids for Christ
mas, then I have some ideas for you. It’s not easy finding the right toy for kids, right? It’s not easy for me either, but I do have a method that I like to use. Basically, I try to visualize in my mind if my children will like a particular toy. I factor in their personalities and things I know they like. For instance, I can visualize my two youngest kids role playing with FurReal Friends StarLily and Play All Day Elmo. My older boy (superhero fanboy) would probably like the Marvel’s Avengers Starter Pack, and my oldest girl (brainy child) would probably like Scrabble Twist. I don’t know for certain if my kids will like the toys I get them, but I think visualizing helps with the process.

Home Alone Ultimate Collector’s Edition Review

Home Alone Ultimate Collector's Edition Blu-ray set

Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment sent me the Ultimate Collector’s Edition of Home Alone for review on my dad blog. The 25th anniversary of Home Alone includes all five Home Alone films in a paint can. That’s right — a paint can. If you ask me, a paint can is a fun way to package the Home Alone movies. If you’ve seen Home Alone (who hasn’t?), then you know why. In addition to all five Home Alone movies, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition includes some extra goodies: a big spider, a McCallister Christmas ornament, Kevin’s battle plan for the Wet Bandits, and a wanted poster of the thieves. Home Alone Ultimate Collector’s Edition is available now on Blu-ray and DVD. The new addition of Home Alone will make a fun gift this holiday.
