My kids and I watched The Book of Life a few days ago. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment sent me the Blu-ray for review on my dad blog. The animated movie was a bit crazy at times, but all of us enjoyed it. The story is wonderful, the songs are great, and it’s entertaining. The Book of Life is not one of those films that makes you laugh your head off, but it did have its funny moments. The Book of Life is available now on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital HD. Friday was National Reading Day. My kids love books. Some of their favorites are Magic Tree House; Oh, the Thinks You Can Think!; The Sword of Summer; Winter Turning; The World According to Humphrey; and The Year of the Book. To help celebrate reading day and to kick off the release of Book of Life (January 27), Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment sent me a kit to help my kids tell the story of our family. I told my kids to use the kit to illustrate a story about our family. What I got was something totally unexpected. I also learned something about my kids — they are weird. Really weird. The Book of Life Blu-ray Giveaway

The Book of Life Blu-ray

The Book of Life will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on January 27th. But thanks to Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, a reader of my dad blog can enter to win The Book of Life Blu-ray today. I have not seen it yet, but according to the press material, the movie is about a man who goes on a quest to reunite with his one true love and defend his village. The animated film features the voices of Channing Tatum, Zoe Saldana, Diego Luna, Ron Perlman, Kate del Castillo, Christina Applegate and Ice Cube.
