Cut the Strings to Pinocchio with Digital HD

Pinocchio Blu-ray

Disney is releasing Pinocchio this week. You know how Disney works. They like to pull many of their movies from retailers and store them in their magical vault. Then they release the titles again many years later. This time around, Disney is releasing Pinocchio in stores. And for the first time ever, Pinocchio is available in Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere. That means you can cut the cord and watch the film anywhere without strings. Cool, right? I also like the digital HD option because I don’t have to find a place to store the film. After a couple of decades of collecting DVDs and Blu-rays, I have run out of space on my bookcase. BTW, I received a movie kit for writing this review. As always, the opinions expressed are mine and I am not obligated to write a positive review.

The Secret Life of Pets Blu-ray Review – it’s Toy Story for pets

The Secret Life of Pets Blu-ray

My kids and I recently watched The Secret Life of Pets. We loved the animated film so much that we’ve watched it twice already. The movie is funny and the characters are cute. The story idea is similar to Toy Story. When the owners are away, the pets talk and hang out with each. But when the owners return, they transform back into cute pets. The Secret Life of Pets is available on Digital HD now and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand December 6th. Note: Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment sent me the movie for review on my dad blog. As always, the opinions expressed are mine and I am not obligated to write a positive review.

Ratchet and Clank Blu-ray Review

Ratchet and Clank Blu-ray | Universal Pictures Home Entertainment

Ratchet & Clank is rolling out on Blu-ray and DVD today. The PG-rated film is based on a PlayStation video game. It’s about two unlikely heroes trying to save the universe. My kids liked the animated film and I thought the movie was OK. Keep in mind the kids and I have never played the Ratchet and Clank video game.
