VidMob Connects Video Creators with Video Editors

Like many parents, I have a ton of video footage of my kids. And when I show them to my friends and co-workers, they politely watch them. But they don’t get excited unless they see the footage I personally edited (see videos on this page). I’m lucky I have the skill to edit my own video. But many parents don’t. That’s when the upcoming VidMob app comes in handy. The app connects video content creators with video editors in a real-time, bid-based marketplace. The app has not been released yet, but it looks easy to use in the demo I saw last week at the TNT Portland event at the Westin Hotel. Just pick your favorite clips on your phone and then select a video editor with the app.

Memorex Lives Contest and Giveaway – win a role in a Hollywood film and/or tablet

Z Nation | Memorex Lives!

I have a 2-for-1 today. First thing, Memorex is running a contest where the winner will win a walk-on role in a 2016 production by The Asylum (the creators of Sharknado and Z Nation), a 55” 4K UHDTV, an invitation to audition for a speaking role and a screenwriter pitch meeting with The Asylum producers. Sounds sweet, right? Especially if you want to break into Hollywood. Second thing, I’m giving away a Memorex tablet on my dad blog. It’s powered by Android…the tablet, not my blog. I already own a couple of tablets, but as far as I’m concerned, you can’t have too may tablets. Continue reading to find out more information about Memorex Lives! contest and my tablet giveaway.

Escape from Planet Earth film ~ The Weinstein Company

Has anyone heard of Escape from Planet Earth? I didn’t until recently. When I first heard the title, I thought it was another film in the Planet of the Apes series. And thanks to The Weinstein Company, I’m hosting a giveaway on my dad blog. The prize is a $25 Visa gift card and an Escape from Planet Earth swag bag. Nice!

Two for one special today. I’m writing a short review of the Own The Moments App and then I’m giving away the Big / Tooth Fairy DVD (Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment) on my dad blog. My kids and I saw Tooth Fairy last month and we loved it. My kids have not seen Big, but I saw it many years ago. It features a young Tom Hank. I loved that movie too.
