Darth Vader Helmet Art Auction
HalloweenCostumes.com is running an auction for charity. They are auctioning off 24 authentic replica Darth Vader helmets. Each helmet was turned into a work of art by carefully selected artists. Some of these redesigned items include Frankenvader, Skevader and Darth Hoot. Proceeds of the auction will benefit the Midwest Art Catalyst and the Miracle League of North Mankato.

As part of Project Open Book, Gerber Life will donate a dollar to Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) for each photo uploaded. Reading Is Fundamental provides books to children in underserved communities across the country. RIF is the largest children’s literacy non-profit in America. They motivate children to read by working with them, their parents, and community members to make reading a fun and beneficial part of everyday life. The contest ends February 13, 2012.

Redbox is running a promotion that ties in with the movies awards season. In the Redbox Movie Awards Facebook Game, you can win up to three years of free Redbox rentals. All you have to do is pick a category: Golden Globes, SAG or Oscars. Then you vote for who will take home this year’s awards. The deadline to enter is February 26, 2012 at 7:00:00 pm CT.
