Snatched | Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment

Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn make an unexpected team-up in Snatched. The team-up is unexpected because I have not seen Goldie Hawn in a movie in a long time. She was so funny back in her day. In her new film, she’s the cautious mom of Amy’s character, who is young and adventurous. The movie is about the two of them trying to escape from some kidnappers in South America. The story is a little predictable, but it’s funny and the dialog is witty at times. Snatched is available now on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD. Note: the movie is rated R for crude sexual content, brief nudity, and language throughout.

The Story

Amy Schumer (Emily Middleton) and Goldie Hawn (Linda Middleton) are on vacation in Ecuador. Amy had just broken up with her boyfriend, so she drags her mom to a vacation that is non-refundable. While they are in Ecuador, they are kidnapped and moved to Columbia. They escape, but they have to make their way through the jungle to the American embassy in Bogota. Meanwhile, the kidnappers are still after them.
