Sing is coming out on Blu-ray and DVD next week. I have not seen the animated film yet, but my kids can’t wait to see the movie. To help celebrate the new release, five readers of my blog will each win a prize pack consisting of a Sing DVD/Blu-ray and promotional swag. Awesome, right! Sing (Illumination Entertainment and Universal Studios Home Entertainment) will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on March 21st. Note: the giveaway is limited to readers in Oregon and Washington. I have another Sing giveaway for the rest of you in a few days.
Set in a world like ours but entirely inhabited by animals, Sing stars Buster Moon (Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey), a dapper koala who presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. Buster is an eternal — some might even say delusional-optimist who loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Now faced with the crumbling of his life’s ambition, he has one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. For the funny, charming, uplifting — and most of all, deeply human — film that features more than 65 songs, McConaughey is joined by fellow Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon, as well as Seth MacFarlane, Scarlett Johansson, John C. Reilly, Taron Egerton and Tori Kelly.
Sing DVD/Blu-ray Sweepstakes
Thanks to Illumination Entertainment and Universal Studios Home Entertainment, five readers of my dad blog will each win a Sing DVD/Blu-ray and promotional swag. The winners will be randomly selected. The deadline to enter the contest is Friday, March 24th (Pacific time). The giveaway is limited to readers in Oregon and Washington only (I have another Sing giveaway for the rest of you in a few days). To enter, leave a comment about your favorite singer or song.
[Disclosure: I did not receive anything for hosting this contest. The giveaway prize will be provided by Illumination Entertainment and Universal Studios Home Entertainment, but they are not the administrators of the sweepstakes on my dad blog. I am not liable for the prize. As always, the opinions expressed are mine and I am not obligated to write a positive review.]
