Bad Moms (giveaway) is a story about a mom who pushes back against the system. She does way too much for her children and thinks too much are expected of moms. The storyline is predictable, but it’s worth watching if you are in the mood for an R-rated comedy. Five Things About Bad Moms
1. Good Mom Becomes Bad Mom
Bad Moms is a story about a mom (Amy) who does everything. She works; makes her children breakfast everyday; helps them with their homework; drives them to school, piano lessons and soccer practice; and attends countless PTA meetings. She’s a busy mom. But one day, Amy has a really bad day and decides she’s no longer going to be a good mom. She’s had enough and kinda of becomes a bad mom. To make matters worse, Amy also separates from her husband, who had been having an online affair with another woman. But that’s not all. While Amy is being a bad mom, she gets on the bad side of an anal mom named Gwendolyn. Amy’s life gets even worst thanks to Gwendolyn. Amy decides to get even by running against Gwendolyn for PTA President. Her rallying point is that moms do too much.
2. A Waste of Jada Pinkett’s Talent
Bad Moms features an all-star cast. Mila Kunis plays the part of the main character, Amy. I thought she was believable even though the story wasn’t. Jada Pinkett Smith is also in the film. She played the part of Stacy, one of the snooty moms. In my opinion, it was a waste of her time. Jada Pinkett is so good in Gotham, but her character in Bad Moms is just a minor one and very one-dimensional. Other cast members include Kathryn Hahn (Carla), Kristen Bell (Kiki), Christina Applegate (Gwendolyn), Annie Mumolo (Vicky), Oona Laurence (Jane), Emjay Anthony (Dylan), David Walton (Mike), Clark Duke (Dale Kipler), Jay Hernandez (Jessie Harkness), Wendell Pierce (Principal Burr), Leah McKendrick (Sharon), Megan Ferguson (Tessa), and Lyle Brocato (Kent). Bad Moms was directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.
3. Lots of Profanity
The movie is rated R and is a raunchy movie with a lot of profanity. You’ll hear a lot of f*ck, sh*t, motherf**ker, d*ck, c*ck, and p*ssy. In addition, there’s also a scene with frontal nudity.
4. Three Movies for the Price of One
The combo pack includes the 100-minute movie in DVD, Blu-ray, digital HD (UltraViolet) formats. In addition it includes three bonus features:
- Deleted Scenes
- Gag Reel
- Cast and Moms Interviews: A collection of intimate moments between the leading cast including Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Christina Applegate, Jada Pinkett Smith and Annie Mumolo and their moms.
5. Bad Moms Synopsis
In this hilarious and heartfelt comedy from the writing duo behind The Hangover, Amy (Mila Kunis) has a seemingly perfect life — a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However, she’s over-worked, over-committed and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Fed up, she joins forces with two other over-stressed moms (Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn) on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities — going on a wild, un-mom-like binge of long overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence — putting them on a collision course with PTA Queen Bee Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) and her clique of devoted perfect moms (Jada Pinkett Smith and Annie Mumolo).
