X-Men: Apocalypse (Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy)

New Blu-ray and DVD movies this week include X-Men: Apocalypse (Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy), American Horror Story: Hotel (Lady Gaga), Swiss Army Man (Daniel Radcliffe), The Purge: Election Year (Elizabeth Mitchell), and Vikings Season 4 (Travis Fimmel, Clive Standen). I’ve already seen the new X-Men film (review) and season four of Vikings, so I’m hoping to see the other new releases. They all sound interesting — especially American Horror Story (Lady Gaga is in it). BTW, the trailer for Swiss Army Man looks pretty funny.   • X-Men: Apocalypse (review)
    Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. As head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), Leo’s mission is to protect her during her controversial and contested run for president. But when a betrayal forces them onto the streets of Washington, D.C. on the one night when no help is available, they must stay alive or both be sacrificed for their sins against the state.
