Against the Wild 2: Survive the Serengeti DVD | Anchor Bay Entertainment

As I mentioned last week, my kids and I watched Against the Wild 2: Survive the Serengeti (it’s not related to the first movie). The film is about two children using all their skills to survive in the African bush after their plane crashes. Against the Wild 2 (review) is a film the entire family can watch together (it’s rated PG). And thanks to Anchor Bay Entertainment, I’m giving away two copies of the DVD on my dad blog. Against The Wild 2 is available now on DVD and digital HD. Continue reading to find out how to win this DVD.

  1. One wilderness survival tip is to keep bear spray on you in case you have a bear encounter while out in the wilderness.

  2. when running from hungry wild animals….you only have to be faster then the person youre running with….

  3. Here’s a wilderness survival tip: Bring along a couple nine volt batteries and some steel wool because it’s great for creating a fire to keep you warm. The steel wool will create sparks when rubbed against the battery connectors, ideal to help get a fire started with most dry tender material such as grass, twigs, wood, paper, or even most cloth materials. Additionally, a fire and the smoke from a fire will help to keep wild animals and pesky insects away, and at a distance.

  4. When you are around a wilderness area, keep a survival kit in your backpack: flashlight, matches, food, some water, map of the area, etc.
