Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Monster Musical DVD Review

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey's Monster Musical

My youngest son and I recently watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Monster Musical. Disney Junior sent me the DVD for review on my dad blog. We both enjoyed the DVD. I like the Halloween theme episode the best, but my son likes the farm episode better. The new DVD features three episodes plus a bonus episode. In addition, the DVD includes a cute, reusable trick-or-treat mini tote (while supplies last). BTW, the DVD is almost two hours long. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Monster Musical is available now on DVD. It has a list price of $19.99, but you can currently purchase it on Amazon for $11.99.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Episodes

  • Mickey’s Monster Musical
In this double episode, Mickey and Minnie visit a castle. While there they try to figure out what’s causing the haunted noise at the castle. This episode features characters that resemble Frankenstein (Goofy), Dracula (Mickey), and ghosts (Donald and Daisy). One of the weird things in this episode is that there are two Mickeys. One is the regular Mickey and the other is a Count Dracula-like character.

  • Mickey’s Pirate Adventure
This is another double episode. As you can guess, it’s about pirates trying to find a treasure chest. Regular characters include Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and Pete. There’s actually two Goofys in this episode. I think one is Grandpa Goofy.

  • Mickey’s Farm Fun Fair
In this episode regular characters like Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Pete, Donald, Pete, Chop and Dale are at a farm. Their activities include an egg race and a bake off. BTW, there’s also a Goofy robot in this episode.

  • Minnie’s Bow-Toons: Tricky Treats
In this 3-minute bonus episode, Minnie and Daisy have no sticky tricky treats to hand out on Halloween. Instead, they decide to perform tricks for trick-or-treaters.

Voice talents include Bret Iwan (Mickey), Russi Taylor (Minnie Mouse), Bill Farmer (Goofy and Pluto), Tony Anselmo (Donald Duck), and Tress MacNeille (Daisy Duck). The episodes were directed by Donovan Cook (Return to Never Land).
