  1. i make sure we dont leave any opened food on the counter, and seal any package that can be nibbled on,i put inside a enclosed container

  2. The easiest way to get rid of fleas is to not get them in the first place. I recommend you use flea prevention medicines on your pets before you end up with fleas. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

  3. I always thought cockroaches were the filthiest pest, but learned from the quiz that houseflies are. Very disgusting.

  4. Since we installed a pet door, we are not opening and closing the screen door as much. This has helped with the bugs.

  5. Adult fire ants cannot digest solid foods, so the myth that grits expand in their stomach and make them explode simply isn’t true (not to mention gruesome).

  6. All of these are important steps to take, but only monitoring for visible damage is not enough. Be sure to inspect more thoroughly than just the places you can easily see. Termites are difficult to control, so if you suspect an infestation, contact a trained pest control professional who can develop a program for your home.
