Watch TV Everywhere with an App – win a Visa gift card

TV Everywhere

Did you know you can watch TV just about anywhere — even when you’re on the road? It’s true. All you have to do is download an app for your smartphone or tablet, or visit a website on your laptop or desktop computer. Then all you have to do is log in and you can watch your favorite TV shows or sporting events live, or download shows to watch offline. Pretty cool, right? And very convenient. I know there have many occasions when I could’ve used the TV Everywhere app. For instance, earlier this month I waited over an hour to re-register my car. And there have also been many times when I had to wait a very long time for a table at a restaurant (we’re a family of six and apparently tables for six are hard to come by). BTW, thanks to TV Everywhere, I’m giving away a prize pack on my dad blog. The prize pack consists of a $25 Visa gift card and a TV Everywhere tablet cover.

TV Everywhere

TV Everywhere is free. It’s one of the many benefits of being a cable subscriber. It’s easy to use and the app puts you in control of when, how and where to watch TV (like at the in-laws house). With TV Everywhere, you’re not limited to only TV shows in real time. There are a variety of content available via TV Everywhere. For instance, you can build a watch list of TV shows, on-demand movies, or even entire seasons of a show (the app automatically plays the next episode in the series). With TV Everywhere, you can also start, pause and rewind a show. Or you can resume watching across multiple devices. That’s awesome.

TV Everywhere with A&E

TV Everywhere is great for the summer time because many of us travel during this time of the year. But the app is also great during the school year when the new episodes are first shown. I know last year I missed many new episodes because of various after-school activities. But with the TV Everywhere app, you can watch when you’re out and about. I’m not suggesting you watch a show during your kid’s play, but there are times when you are just waiting around. For instance, two of my kids attend a 6-12 grade school. When they have a concert, my six grader performs first. He’s on for 15-20 minutes, then I have wait over an hour before I can hear my high schooler perform. With TV Everywhere, I could wait in the hallway for an hour and watch a show between performances.

TV Everywhere with History

BTW, you don’t have to be on the road to use TV Everywhere. You can also use the app or website at home. It’s great for those days you just want to relax on your deck, patio or pool area.

TV Everywhere is actually a group of apps and websites. Each cable company participating in the TV Everywhere program has their own app and website. Just head on over to the TV Everywhere website, find your cable provider, and then download their app.

TV Everywhere with Lifetime

In conclusion, watch your favorites from TNT, A&E, Travel Channel and may more while you’re on-the-go this summer!

  1. I’m 8 months pregnant and I have frequent doctor’s appointments, so I would enjoy watching TV in the doctor’s waiting room.

  2. I would enjoy it this summer by watching tv on the go while waiting for my grandsons at their tennis practice and by sitting and relaxing by the pool!

  3. I would watch TV on the go on the bus. I have to take the bus, and it would be nice to watch a TV show while riding. I also would love to watch TV anywhere at the Doctor’s office.

  4. I so could have used this yesterday at my sons Dr. appt he had to go for testing and I spent an hour and a half in the waiting room.

  5. We have a lot of long-distance plans this summer which include hours in the go. TV on the go would be a must for car ride entertainment!

  6. This would be great to use while travelling, waiting between boardings and in place like the doctors office waiting room :)

  7. I would finish binge watching my favorite shows on the tablet before having to head back to school- I am a teacher!

  8. I am enjoying TV programming on-the-go this summer when I go visit my parents, they
live far from me and I take a road trips a few times a month.

  9. I watch all my cooking shows on my laptop computer. Some of them are free, others I have to stream for a few bucks.

  10. My daughter could watch Cartoon Network while we are at the softball field for her sister’s games. We can spend upwards of 24 hours on a field over a weekend so the little one can get bored. This would give her a little something extra to do. Thank you!

  11. I have a toddler & her sister will be born next week, so I’m limited in my TV time. I use my Kindle to catch up on my TV shows whenever I can. This helps if I’m not in a room where I have access to a TV or so I can use headphones so I don’t disturb nap time. I love that flexibility.

  12. My favorite shows are Friends & Royal Pains. I’m still on the search for a new show to binge watch, but those I can watch anytime & enjoy. My daughter watches a lot of Sesame Street & Bo on the Go.

  13. I spend a lot of time on my patio and sometimes I want to watch TV, but don’t want to go inside and miss out on a beautiful day.
