Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment recently sent us a bunch of goodies to host a family movie night. We watched Penguins of Madagascar (giveaway | review). This is actually the second time for my youngest son. He really likes the animated film. The main activity while watching the movie was making ice cream. We’ve never made ice cream before. It’s actually fairly easy with the YayLabs Ice Cream Ball — just add rock salt and ingredients. The product included several recipes. We made the mint chocolate chip ice cream. It was yummy!
We had a chilling good time with the ice cream maker and penguin-shaped ice cubes for the lemonade. We didn’t have time to make cupcakes, but the kids loved the penguin plushies the studio sent us. I think my children adopted them. They are part of our family now. On another note, I have no idea why my youngest son is wearing his sister’s pj. He must be going through a phase because he’s been doing it every day for almost a week now.
