Strawberry Shortcake: Snowberry Days DVD

The kids and I watched the new Strawberry Shortcake DVD over the weekend. Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment sent me the DVD for review on my dad blog. The latest title is called Strawberry Shortcake: Snowberry Days. My kids love Strawberry Shortcake. In fact, my five-year old son said he wants a Strawberry Shortcake DVD for his birthday next month. Even though I’m a dad, I’ll admit I like Strawberry Shortcake too. The characters are cute and there isn’t anything inappropriate in the shows. Strawberry Shortcake: Snowberry Days is available now on DVD.

As you can guess by the title, Strawberry Shortcake: Snowberry Days has a winter theme to it. The DVD is about 66 minutes in length and there are three episodes on the DVD:

  • The Berry Long Winter
In this episode, Strawberry Shortcake and her friends play a snowman game with the Berrykins. Then some squirrels join in, and the gang worry about the squirrels’ food store when winter appears to be coming back.

  • The Big Freeze
A wind storm hits the community. Meanwhile, Blueberry Muffin can’t wait for her package to arrive. Unfortunately, postal service has stopped because of the storm. While Blueberry is waiting for her package to arrive, she invents ice skates that are actually powered by the wind.

  • On Ice
In this episode, Berrykin Bruce and Raspberry Tart both want to hold a special event at the fountain on the same day. Berrykin Bruce wants to put on a water show, while Raspberry wants to stage a fashion show. After the two of them reach an agreement to share and work together, the fountain freezes and ruins their plans.

The Strawberry Shortcake: Snowberry Days DVD also includes the movie in digital HD format (Ultraviolet streaming). In addition, the DVD includes printable coloring pages and activity sheet, and the Berry Bitty Adventures Sing-A-Long (it’s the theme song for the episodes).

  1. My daughter may be 44 now, but her favorite was Strawberry Shortcake when she was little. She was definitely a girly girl when she was little. I remember getting Strawberry Shortcake wallpaper and doing one of her walls in her bedroom, and then she had a comforter set and sheets of course and all the toys that went with it. She was a good little girl and deserved it so much and more. hehehe And still does! Thanks for sharing it brought back wonderful memories!
