A Little Monster Crashed Our Date Night

Best of Me Date Night

My wife and I had a date night. OK, it wasn’t an official date night because we didn’t have a sitter. But we did make the kids stay in their rooms while we ate dinner and watched The Best of Me. We’ve seen the movie before (review), but we didn’t mind seeing it again. The film is based on a Nicholas Sparks novel. You can’t go wrong with a Nicholas Sparks story on date night, right? BTW, as you can see in the photo above, one of our little monsters crashed our date night.

Below is a photo of my beautiful wife. We’re not high school sweethearts like the main characters in The Best of Me. But we have been married for almost 17 years. Our marriage isn’t perfect. Like many couples, we’ve had our share of ups and downs. But we’re still together and I feel very bless.

  1. Well, you could not go wrong with a Nicholas Sparks movie. But, the little monster should have been up with the other little guy! Great Dinner, and glad you had fun.
