I ordered a couple of photo books from Collage.com. They look fabulous! I plan on keeping one for myself and giving away the second one to my dad for Christmas. I love photobooks and I think they are awesome gifts for family members.
The photo books were easy to create. Unlike other companies, the photo books are not template driven. You are not forced to shoehorn your photos into predefined spots on a page. Instead, you drag the photos you want onto a page and the system automatically arranges the photos for you. If you’re not happy with the layout, you can then manually rearrange the photos yourself.
Collage.com gives you a variety of options for photos. I uploaded my photos from my computer, but you can also select photos of any size from Facebook, Instagram, and Flickr. After you have uploaded your photos, you can manually drag photos to various pages of your photobook. Or you can use their innovative auto-placement engine that instantly suggests a perfect layout, placing photos of any size in chronological order over the desired number of pages. As I mentioned previously, I placed my photos manually
because I’m a control freak.
BTW, you can get a 20-page 11.5″ x 8″ hardcover photo book from Collage.com for only $25 (plus free shipping). You better hurry before the promotion ends!
