Princess Cupcake Jones has a new book coming out. It’s called Princess Cupcake Jones Won’t Go To School! Belle Publishing sent me a copy of the book for review on my dad blog. In my honest opinion, I think the story is wonderful, I love the illustrations in the book, and the main character makes me smile. Cupcake Jones actually reminds me of my two girls. I’m happy to add the book to our library. Princess Cupcake Jones Won’t Go To School! will be available on September 1st. The 32-page hardcover book is priced at $12.28.
Princess Cupcake Jones Won’t Go To School is the second book in the Cupcake Jones series (see my review of book one). In book two, summer is over and it’s time to go back to school. But Cupcake Jones doesn’t want to return to school. So she pouts and then pretends to be sick. Mom takes her to the doctor. The doctor tells Cupcake Jones she has to take some yucky medicine and also needs a shot. Then all of a sudden, Cupcake Jones is no longer sick. Hmmm, this sounds just like my kids and their miracle recoveries.
Anyway, Princess Cupcake Jones makes one excuse after another, but eventually she goes to school. As it turns out, she was just a little afraid. But there really wasn’t anything to be scared of. Cupcake Jones likes her new teacher and she even made a new friend on her first day of school.
