I recently watched the new Peppa Pig DVD with my two youngest kids. The title is called Peppa Pig: The Balloon Ride. The DVD is only an hour long, but it includes twelve 5-minute episodes (my favorite is The Baby Piggy). My little ones love Peppa Pig. They think the show is funny. The episodes are short, which is good because then their minds don’t wander. The animation is simple, but my children don’t seem to care. Peppa Pig: The Balloon Ride will be available on DVD and in digital format on August 12th. And thanks to Entertainment One, a reader of my dad blog can win the DVD and a Peppa Pig book.
For parents who don’t know, Peppa Pig is a hit preschool series from Nick Jr. The episodes are filled with the wholesome family entertainment and gentle humor that will make preschoolers and parents everywhere fall in love with the delightful Peppa Pig and her family (little brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig). The DVD takes little ones on fun adventures from a hot air balloon ride, to fun with painting, a new baby piggy, an exciting bicycle race, and of course jumping in muddy puddles.
BTW, feel free to print out the Peppa Pig: The Balloon Ride activity sheet below. Just click on the graphics.
