Today, I’m taking part in Derek Munson’s Bad Dad Blog Tour. Just so you know, I’m part of this tour because I’m a dad blogger, not because I’m a bad dad. The tour is actually for Derek’s new book, Bad Dad (Cannonball Books). It’s a wonderful book illustrated by Melody Wang. The picture book is available now for $3.19 for the Kindle ebook and $11.79 for the hardcover. Continue reading to find out how you can win this excellent book on my blog.
Bad Dad Synopsis
Uh oh! Looks like Dad is in trouble again! The library books are overdue. The kids are late for school. And the last cookie is missing from the cookie jar. Again. And somehow, Dad always seems to be in the middle of it all. But is he really all that bad?
As you can tell in the synopsis, the story doesn’t start off well for the main character of the book. He has a knack for doing the wrong things. He breaks the bed, eats the last cookie, drinks milk straight from the carton, and many other things that just are not right. But by the end of the story, the kids realize their dad isn’t so bad after all. As a dad, I do the wrong things more often than I like to admit. But I like to think even when I mess up, my kids think I’m still OK. And that is why I enjoyed this new book by Derek Munson.
I’m one of several bloggers on Derek Munson’s tour (thank you Derek for the autographed book!). Be sure to check out his other stops on the Bad Dad Tour.
