I have an awesome giveaway for you music lovers out there. Thanks to Sol Republic, I’m giving away their new Relays headphones on my dad blog. They sent me a pair for review and I think they are great. The sound is magnificent and it features a built-in control for the microphone and music. The new headphones are designed for work, play and sport. The company calls them cross-over headphones. According to the press material, the cross-over headphone offers the benefits of a sports headphone but have amazing style that looks great anytime, making them the only headphone you need all day. The Sol Republic Relays are available now in black for $79.99 at Verizon Wireless. It will be available nationwide in Black & White, Horizon Blue and Lemon Lime at leading nationwide retailers next month.

Relays are in-ear headphones. They include Sol Republic’s proprietary FreeFlex technology. According to the literature, FreeFlex enables Relays’ universal fit and makes them easy to put in your ear and stay there regardless of how intensely you move. In my experience, they are easy to put in. But I had to twist them in order to keep them from falling out when I worked out. Once they are in snuggly, they did stay in during my entire workout. BTW, the headphones are sweat and water resistant.

The headphones’ new I5 Sound Engine is amazing. When I had them on, it felt like the music was coming from inside my head. It’s hard to believe the tiny ear buds can deliver such outstanding sound.

Relays also include a clip that ensures the cable won’t ever get caught. If you don’t like the clip, you can just remove it.

As I mentioned previously, the headphones include a built-in remote for the microphone and music. You can use the remote to adjust the volume or to skip a track. In addition, you can use the remote to answer phone calls and the remote will automatically pause the music. Cool, right?

Here’s another great feature of Relays — they include Sol Republic’s Ear Tips for Life program so you never have to worry if you lose your ear tips. According to the company, Sol Republic is the only manufacturer that will replace your ear tips anytime they are lost, misplaced or if you simply want a different size. Relays ship with four different size ear tips for the perfect fit as well as a carrying case to keep them protected when not in use.

  2. My daughter wears them for everything. She wears them when she’s doing homework, just sitting around and when she is working out. Thank you!

  3. I wear headphones at night as I drift off to sleep, they get trashed! If by chance they survive, my foster dogs chew them up! AAARRRGH!

  4. I usually wear them for sports… Nothing quite like cardio and listening to uplifting music. Classical is the way to go.

  5. I wear headphones when my husband is home because I’m either watching movies on my pc or listening to R&B which my husband hates

  6. I’ve been looking for good headphones for some time. I use headphones all the time for my music, for my tablet and my laptop.
