This Is 40 Blu-ray | Universal Studios Home Entertainment

Thanks to Universal Studios Home Entertainment, I’m giving away the upcoming This Is 40 on Blu-ray. In the movie, the two main characters both turn 40 (hence the title of the DVD). The film is a mostly realistic and humorous look inside the life of a married couple that try to balance romance, careers, parents and children in their own funny ways. This Is 40 features Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Melissa McCarthy, Jason Segel, Megan Fox, John Lithgow and Albert Brooks. This is 40 comes out on Blu-ray and DVD on Friday (March 22, 2013).

Below is a movie summary provided by Universal Studios:

A midlife milestone sends a long-married couple into an uproarious tailspin in This is 40. Audiences fell in love with contentiously loving couple Pete and Debbie in Judd Apatow’s comedy sensation Knocked Up. Five years later Apatow reunites with his hilarious creations as Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann reprise their roles as husband and wife balancing the challenges and rewards of marriage and parenthood with the milestone of turning 40.

This is 40 was an Apatow production. In the film, Judd Apatow had his wife and two daughters star in it. Below is a rundown of some other famous Hollywood families who have worked together on the big screen.

Famous On Screen Families

Tom and Colin Hanks, and Rita Wilson
Tom Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, have worked on numerous projects together, including Bosom Buddies, Volunteers, and That Thing You Do! Tom’s son, Colin, has also joined Tom and Rita for a few projects, including That Thing You Do!, Band of Brothers, and The Great Buck Howard.

Joan and John Cusack
Joan and John Cusack are one of Hollywood’s favorite and most beloved sets of siblings. The pair have worked on numerous films together, including classics like Say Anything and Sixteen Candles, Gross Pointe Blank and High Fidelity.

Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie
Despite having a sometimes-strained relationship, Angelina Jolie and her father, Jon Voight have shared a few memorable on screen moments. Voight played her father on screen in 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. In addition, when Angelina was only seven years old, she had a small part in Lookin’ To Get Out, a film that her father co-wrote and starred in.

Ben and Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara and Christine Taylor
Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara aren’t just an awesome comedy duo, they’re also Ben Stiller’s parents. Ben is married to actress Christine Taylor, and the four of them have worked on quite a few films together over the years. Most notably, all four appeared in Zoolander. Ben, Jerry and Anne all appeared together in Heavyweights, and Ben and Christine in DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story.

Will, Jada, Jaden and Willow Smith
The Smith family is very involved with and supportive of each other’s careers. Jaden starred alongside Will as his son in The Pursuit of Happyness, had a cameo in Men in Black II, and will be co-starring alongside his dad once again in the upcoming film, After Earth. Jaden was also in his sister, Willow’s, music video for “Whip My Hair!”
