Review and Giveaway: Curious George Swings into Spring DVD
Spring is just around the corner. Actually, it kinda feels like we skipped winter this year. No snow or ice this year in our area. Now is a good time to watch the new Curious George Swings into Spring DVD. The kids and I watched it recently and loved it. The latest Curious George (Universal Studios) title is available now on DVD. It has a list price of $19.98. However, you can currently purchase it on Amazon for $14.99. And thanks to Universal Studios Home Entertainment, you can win a copy of this fun DVD on my dad blog.
It’s been awhile since the kids and I have seen Curious George. Yeah, I know. Curious George has a series on PBS, but it’s usually on when I’m at work. Maybe I should watch the show at the office. It’s hard not to like George — he makes everyone smile. In his latest movie, George does not disappoint. He’s fun, cute and mischievous — just like how I remembered him.
In Curious George Swings into Spring, it’s spring (duh) and George wants to play and enjoy the new season. Everyone has spring fever except for Hundley, who is George’s best friend. George wants his dog friend to have fun too so he tries to teach Hundley about spring. They explore all the wonders of the season together — including blooming flowers, baby animals and canoe rides. But no matter what George does, his buddy doesn’t seem happy about spring. Hundley thinks spring is too messy and prefers to stay inside. But as you can guess, Hundley eventually has a change of heart and loves spring by the end of the 57-minute DVD.
