Review and Giveaway: Mattel Toy Story Zing Ems Rocket Rumble Playset
Check out this awesome toy Mattel sent me for review and giveaway on my dad blog. It’s a Toy Story Zing Ems Rocket Rumble Playset. My three-year old toddler and I love it. Actually, my seven-year daughter and nine-year son also love this simple toy. The playset is easy to assemble and play. And I love the Toy Story theme. Toy Story is one of our favorite Disney Pixar movies.
As I mentioned previously, the game is easy to play. Just pull back on the lever to launch Buzz Lightyear. Your little one can blast through the rocket, crash through the Zurgbots, and jump through the asteroid field. The toy set only includes a Buzz character, but you can purchase additional Zing Ems figures separately. They come in sets of two. My toddler wants to collect them all. He tells me that every day. He’s pretty cute when he points out the Toy Story characters he doesn’t have yet. Luckily for him, his birthday is coming up.
A fun Zing Ems game is challenging your little adventurers to send their Zing-Ems down the track. Set a timer for one minute and then count the number of times the Zing Ems character makes it around. We didn’t actually get far because my toddler likes to grab Buzz while he’s whizzing around the track. He thinks it’s funny when he does it because I make a sad face every time he grabs Buzz.
The Toy Story Zing Ems Rocket Rumble Playset retails for about $14.99 (currently $13.07 on Amazon). The two-packs of Zing Ems figures are available for $6.99. There are five packs in all (ten figures).
