When my son grows up

Look at this cute book I received from Lookio Books. It’s a personalized and customizable book that features my son’s face and name in the story. We love it — especially my toddler, the main character in the book. In case you’re wondering, Lookio Books is a small business recently launched by the husband and wife team of Christine and Shawn Currie. And thanks to Lookio Books, a reader of my dad blog will win a cute and personalized children’s book too.

There are currently three Lookio books to choose from: When (Name) Grows Up, (Name) and the Little Cloud, and (Name) and the Rickety Robot. The title of our book is, When Taylor Grows Up. It’s awesome! BTW, you can get 20% off a custom book from Lookio Books with this promo code: JANFEB0414

Lookio Books are customized with your child’s name, gender, and skin tone. The books are 8″ x 10″ hardcover books. They feature a personalized story, 13 or 14 full spreads (26-28 pages), a dedicated title page, full color art on glossy paper, and a glossy laminated cover that resists wear and tear.

Here are some screenshots of our custom and personalized book for our son:

  1. I’ll put my daughter Laylah, she’s 1 1/2 and loves books, and I think she’d get a kick out of seeing herself in one.
