Iris: The Happy Professor Volume 2 DVD ~ Organa

Organa sent me a copy of Iris: The Happy Professor Volume 2 DVD for review on my dad blog. It’s a Muppet-like DVD for children ages three to seven. The DVD is educational and has a science theme. By science, I mean health science. For instance, the DVD featured material about the five senses, why we have to eat, and why we have to sleep. Iris: The Happy Professor Volume 2 is available now for $19.95.

The main character of The Happy Professor is Iris. He’s a puppet that likes to teach kids about various topics. The DVD blends educational material with entertainment (songs and humor). The DVD is about 73 minutes long and includes five episodes.

You know how some pre-school DVDs appeal to older kids too? This isn’t one of those titles. Based on my kids reaction, The Happy Professor is not for older kids. My older children (ages seven to twelve) were bored. The DVD targets children ages three to seven, but it’s probably more like three to five (it really depends on your kids).

Iris: The Happy Professor is actually one of three volumes.
