Fantastic Sams Fantastic for Men hair products

Things have been a little hectic around here because it’s back to school week for my kids. Hopefully, things will settle down next week. Speaking of back to school, Fantastic Sams Hair Salons is running a back to school giveaway on my dad blog. Here’s what I’m giving away (and reviewing):

  • $25 Fantastic Sams gift certificate
  • Fantastic for Men x-treme gel
  • Fantastic for Men styling cement

Fantastic for Men X-treme Gel
This hair product is an ultra-firm gel that controls hair all day long. It comes out as a clear, smooth flowing gel that is easy to apply. In addition, x-treme gel also includes sunscreen for UV protection (I’ve never used a hair product with sunscreen before). BTW, the gel uses a non-alcohol formula for a natural, no-flake shine.

Fantastic for Men Styling Cement
This styling cement is great for guys and girls looking to spike and twist the hair into a defined style that lasts all day and night. The hair product comes out as a white gel that is a little firmer than x-treme gel, but is still easy to apply. In addition, the Fantastic for Men styling cement is water-resistant (relax, it shampoos out).

BTW, check out these back-to-school hair tips from Fantastic Sams Hair Salons:

  • The summer sun and poolside fun can really do a number on your hair. Get your kids hair back in shape with a deep conditioning treatment at your local Fantastic Sams Hair Salon.

  • No more bad hair days for elementary-aged boys. The buzzed cut is still popular among boys and their moms. It’s a low maintenance hairstyle and it’ll be the least of your worries if he’s running late to school. Choose a cut that is short, but leaves enough hair for your boy to spike it with our fantasticstyle firm hold gel when it grows out.

  • Spend more time on after-school activities than on your hair. Save time during your morning routine and have the perfect beach-inspired wave by braiding hair at night. Finish the look with fantasticfinish finishing spritz for a flexible yet lasting finishing hold.

  • Add some personality to your hair without a drastic change: hair accessories are all the rage. Complement your hair with a jeweled headband or flower hair clip for the ultimate girlie look. As for guys, baseball caps are great to represent your favorite sports team, but eliminate “hat hair” with fantasticstyle firm hold gel.

  • Don’t forget that back-to-school is more than just haircuts. Many high school and college students are looking to express or change their look with a new hair color. Try adding face-framing highlights to brighten up the look.

Fantastic Sams is one of the world’s largest full-service hair care franchises providing the same quality services as independent salons, but at a fraction of the cost, making it a great option for moms and dads. And this month, the company is offering a coupon good for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more. Head on over to their Facebook page to print out the coupon.

  1. Shampoo, John Frieda Frizz-Ease Dream Curls, and my favorite Regis “Designline Ultimate Radiance” (leave-in conditioning styler).

  2. I typically use Herbal Essences shampoo and Pantene conditioner. I tried Aveda deep conditioning a few months ago, too. Oh, and hair spray!
