Review: Movie Theater Popcorn – it’s better for you
Popcorn, Indiana [Facebook | Twitter] sent me their new Movie Theater Popcorn to review on my dad blog. I’ve eaten store-bought popcorn before, but Movie Theater Popcorn is different because it’s ready to eat right out of the bag. You can eat the popcorn as is, or warm it up in the microwave. My kids and I tried the popcorn over Labor Day weekend and we loved it.
Movie Theater Popcorn comes in a microwave safe warm-up bag. It only takes a minute to warm up the popcorn. And best of all, there aren’t any unpopped or burnt popcorn kernels. I hate biting down on a kernel.
By now, you’re probably wondering if the product tastes as good as real movie theater popcorn. I think this really depends on the kind of popcorn you buy at the theater. In my case, I opt for extra butter on my popcorn at the theater. I know the butter at the theater is suppose to be really bad for me, but I can’t help myself. In comparison to that, Movie Theater Popcorn still tastes good, but it is not as sinfully delicious as popcorn purchased at the theater. On the other hand, Movie Theater Popcorn is a lot less expensive ($3 to $6 depending on bag size) and is better for you. It is all natural (uses real butter and there are no preservatives). It’s glutten free, kosher, and does not contain any trans fat.
Popcorn, Indiana also offers a variety of flavors that do not require using a microwave:
- Aged White Cheddar Kettlecorn
- Cinnamon Sugar
- Sea Salt
- Bacon Ranch
- Caramel Corn
- Almont Biscotti
- Roasted Peanut Caramel Corn
- Cocoa Kettlecorn
- Dark Fudge Chocolate Chip Kettlecorn
- Drizzled Black & White Kettlecorn
- Drizzled Cinnamon Sugar Kettlecorn
- Chocolate Peanut Butter Kettlecorn
- Dark Fudge Peppermint Kettlecorn
