Dads and moms, have you started your back-to-school shopping yet? Another item you might want to add to your back to school list is Gutzy Gear. The company sent me some products to review and giveaway on my dad blog. So, what is Gutzy Gear? It’s essentially a product for accessorizing you kid’s backpack. My children love them and I have a feeling their friends at school will think Gutzy Gear is neat too. Gutzy Gear isn’t a must have item for school, but it is a fun-have item for kids.
Gutzy Gear consists of two items. First, there are the straps. They wrap around the straps of backpacks, messenger bags, or rolling bags. I’ve also seen them on seat belts, curtains, and kids’ arms. The straps use velcro so they are easy to secure in place. They come in a set of two, and retail for $9.99.
The second Gutzy Gear item is a Gutzie. This item is a patch that lets kids decorate their Gutzy strap. Gutzies have velcro on the back side that attaches easily to the velcro surface of a Gutzy strap. Actually, they can be attached to any item with a velcro surface. Unlike stickers, the velcro makes the patches removable. Nice, right?
Gutzie patches come in a variety of designs. My kids’ favorites are the designs with Marvel superheroes. As I said before, my children really love the Gutzies. I think they are going to be a big hit at school too. I wouldn’t be surprised if kids start trading them at school (remember the silly band craze?). Gutzies come in a set of two, and retail for $4.99.
