Review and Giveaway ~ Thomas & Friends: Schoolhouse Delivery
I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July. We did, but now it’s time to get back to work (too bad I can’t take the rest of the week off). Today, I’m writing a review and hosting a giveaway for Thomas & Friends: Schoolhouse Delivery DVD (Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment). The latest Thomas & Friends DVD is an excellent addition to your kids movie library — especially if your preschooler is into trains like my youngest son. Thomas & Friends: Schoolhouse Delivery DVD will be available next Tuesday (July 10th) on DVD, and via digital download and video-on-demand. It has a list price of $14.98, but you can currently purchase the Thomas & Friends: Schoolhouse Delivery DVD for $9.99 on Amazon.
The 48-minute DVD features four episodes and two bonus features. The main characters on this disc are Thomas, Diesel, Percy, Henry, and Hiro.

Diesel’s Special Delivery
In this episode, Diesel is jealous of James. The kids cheer and clap when they see James, but they don’t do that for Diesel. Diesel then goes around doing things that he thinks will appeal to the kids, but the children still do not cheer and clap for Diesel. Eventually, Diesel realizes he has been neglecting his duties and needs to return to his job. I was actually surprised to see that Diesel isn’t actually a mean train like he appeared to be in some of the other Thomas episodes.Being Percy
Percy can’t get the other trains to move out of his way. He then mimics Gordon and yells at the other trains to get them to move. It worked, so Percy continues to shout at the other trains to get them to move out of the way.Henry’s Health and Safety
Henry is worry about health and safety. He doesn’t want any accidents so he goes around removing items that may cause an accident. Unfortunately, the other trains need those items and they can’t find them after Henry has moved them.Happy Hiro
Hiro is sad because he misses his home. Thomas tries to cheer him up, but no matter what Thomas does, Hiro remains sad. Eventually, Thomas realizes all Hiro wants to do is puff quietly because that reminds him of home.The Mighty Magnet Game
In this game, you use Butch’s magnets to pick up metallic items.Guess Who? Puzzles
The game starts off with multiple unassembled puzzle pieces. It’s your job to guess who’s picture is in the puzzle before it becomes fully assembled.

Hi geeky Dad – this is slightly geeky G’mama. My kids are grown as are most of my grands. But there are still 5 of the 13 grands young enough to enjoy this DVD. Wow! Wouldn’t it be great to win here at the tail end of your giveaway.
