Giveaway: Ben-Hur 50th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition DVD Box Set

Thanks to Warner Bros., I’m giving away the Ben-Hur 50th Anniversary Ultimate Collector’s Edition DVD box set. It’s about a Jewish prince (Judah Ben-Hur) that was betrayed and sent into slavery by his Roman friend. Ben-Hur eventually regains his freedom and comes back for revenge. The film features the late Charlton Heston as Ben-Hur. I have not seen the movie, but I’ve heard good things about it. Ben-Hur won eleven Academy Awards, including Best Picture. The Ben-Hur 50th Anniversary edition is available now on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD, On Demand and for Download.

  1. I saw it a long time ago. My mother loved Charleston Heston & so do I. I would love to that this if only to remind me of the times my mom & I sat together to watch old movies. I miss her lots.

  2. Like you, I cannot say that I have ever seen Ben-Hur before. But I am a big fan of many of Charlton Heston’s films. This was one that I had missed.

  3. I have seen it many times on laserdisc etc, being born in 61′ I never had the chance to see this classic film in a theater, I would love to see Warners issue this in the big cities so we can see it on the big screen!

  4. I have seen Ben-Hur many times and by a few different directors. I have even read the book. Thank you for asking and for hosting this giveaway.

  5. I watched “Ben-Hur” when I was around eight years old with my family, and even though I remember a few scenes very vividly, it’ll be like watching it again for the first time with this new anniversary set. Thanks for the chance to enter!

  6. I have seen it, and it is my Dad’s favorite movie! I hope I win so that I can give this to him. Thanks for the chance I really appreciate it.

  7. Love Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments and Ben Hur and watch it each time it’s on TV. I had my grandchildren watch it with me and they were mesmerized and keep asking when it’s going to be on again.

  8. Haven’t seen it yet, but have heard good things! A friend likes it, so if I win, this would be a gift for them!

  9. Saw this in the movie theater when it first came out and before the movie started you heard the overture which was wonderful. The movie was breathtaking and seeing on a huge Loew’s Theater screen really added something to the whole effect. Would love to win this as I have the original music album with the LP records and book that came in the box set.
