I received a set of Blok Squad Police Force Pursuit for review on my dad blog. Initially, I thought the brick set was for my two-year old toddler to play with it. We have several Mega Bloks sets already and I thought this was another one of those big bricks set that’s easy for toddlers to play with it. But the Blok Squad Police Force Pursuit is actually intended for kids ages five and up. Before I get to the review, I want to mention there is still a few days left to win a back-to-school kit in the Mega Bloks Family Club contest. They are giving away kits daily and everyone that enters will also have a chance to win $250 worth of Rose Art school supplies. You better hurry, the contest ends Thursday (September 22nd).
Blok Squad Police Force Pursuit consists of a police cruiser, police carrier, boat trailer, police boat, three Blok Squad police officers, and a few miscellaneous accessories. The kit features 391 pieces. Even though the set has almost 400 pieces, it was fairly easy to assemble. My eight-year old son was able to put everything together by himself. Hint: the kit includes multiple bags. My son opened all the bags and dumped all the pieces together. My guess is that there’s a bag for each vehicle and it would it be easier to find the right piece if you didn’t mix all the bags together.
It took my son awhile to assemble the Police Force Pursuit set, but he enjoyed the building process. And now that he’s finish, he likes to play with the assembled pieces and pretend the police is after the bad guys. The Police Force Pursuit set is actually one of several Blok Squad sets. The Police Force Pursuit is sold at Amazon, Walmart, and Toys R Us. It has a list price of $19.99.
