Barney: 1-2-3 Learn DVD Review and Giveaway
I’m giving away the new Barney: 1 2 3 Learn DVD on my dad blog today. Barney 1-2-3 is intended for kids one to five years old. Some dads and moms hate Barney, but I don’t find him annoying. It could be because I have not seen that many Barney shows. My kids like Barney and they like this title too. Barney: 1-2-3 Learn comes out on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand next Tuesday (July 12th) from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment. It has a list price of $14.98 (currently $11.99 on Amazon).
The title of the DVD is Barney: 1 2 3 Learn, but the DVD covers more than just numbers. Barney and friends also cover shapes and letters. As usual, there is plenty of singing and some dancing in the DVD. In this DVD, Baby Bop counts to find treasures, and BJ uses the alphabet to help Riff get ready for his music concert in the park. This is the first time I’ve seen the Riff character. I don’t watch Barney often, but it seems like every time I do watch the show, there’s a new character. BTW, there’s also a DVD bonus: Count with Barney. The game asks questions like: How many trucks do you see?, How many blocks are in the truck?, and How many hats do you see? My five year old enjoyed using the remote to play this game on her own. Too bad there’s only a few questions.
