Green Works Mother’s Day Giveaway – free house cleaning for a month

Here’s an interesting Mother’s Day idea from Green Works: a clean home. Unless you want to sleep in the dog house, I wouldn’t recommend telling your wife to clean-up the house for Mother’s Day. However, you can give the mother of your children a break. Try cleaning the house yourself or hiring a cleaning service. Better yet, enter my giveaway to win house cleaning services for a month ($400 value). That’s right, thanks to Green Works (Facebook), you can have your home clean for free. They’ll even send the winner some of their environmentally friendly products — like the new Oxi Stain Remover and Chlorine-Free Bleach.

Green Works Chlorine-Free Bleach and Oxi Stain Remover ~ Clorox

BTW, Green Works is a line of naturally derived cleaning products from the makers of Clorox. Their product line cleans without harsh chemical fumes or residue. Some of their products include:

  • Oxi Stain Remover
You can add it to your wash, soak clothes in it, or gently rub it into whites and colors to pre-treat stains because it’s fragrance, chlorine, detergent, dye and harsh residue free
  • Chlorine-Free Bleach
Whitens whites, safe on colors, and made from naturally derived ingredients like coconut-based cleaners — and not chlorine
  • Laundry Detergent
Tough on dirt and stains, dermatologist-tested for sensitive skin, and does not contain phosphates, optical brighteners or harsh chemical residue
  • Dishwashing Liquid
Dermatologist-tested, gentle on hands, at least 97% naturally derived, and cuts through tough grease, removes baked-on food and easily rinses away
  • All-purpose Cleaner
Safe to use on multiple surfaces throughout the kitchen and bathroom, dermatologist-tested, and at least 97% naturally derived

  5. Well the video was amazing… it would be great to give our furniture a GREEN make over, along with some GREEN flooring…. but ahem… we’re low on the green, so we go with the plants for cleaner air – my fav tip for those on a tight budget. rerooting, repotting and to spread and share yours and with friends.

  6. I like the idea of replacing carpet with hardwood flooring, we did this because we all have allergies.

  11. I like episode 3 – bathroom edition. I did not realize how much water our potty uses. Definately going to replace our old one.

  12. I liked the kitchen episode because like the couple, I hear so much about going green, but don’t really know exactly how to do it, and Carter gave specific steps – like saving energy with a new fridge.

  13. I liked everything they did in the family room, but my favorite tip (quickest and easiest too) was the use of plants to clean the air.

  14. I liked the video on Cooking with In-green-ients. One tip was to use cast iron cookware. I already use a cast iron skillet and am looking for other cast iron pots and pans.
