  1. I think the first step to improving our garage would be to eradicate our spider problem. We have quite the infestation! The second step would be to add a new roof and new doors to the garage. Thanks for this giveaway!

  2. I did this: Click on the Facebook like button below and then write on my Facebook fan page about where you get gas (ARCO, Shell, Chevron, BP, etc) (as Selene Montgomery)

  3. wellllll, i would get a dumpster and get rid of everything. then the whole back of the house from the basement ceiling up… is being held up by a steel beam (starting to bow) well id find a way to get that fixed (no idea) put up walls on the concrete block. put in shelves and maybe actually get a car in there? someday….

  4. We don’t have a garage–we call a closet in our house “the garage” b/c we keep paint and tools and other “garagy” things in it. So we could improve by geting a garage.

  5. I want a “place foe everything and everything in its place”…I like Mary’s way of putting it (see above comment) I would love to have a storage/organization system

  6. Our garage really is in some need of a good shelving system & some big plastic see thru bins. That would free up allot of space. Next would be a nice work table & a good lighting system for my Husband’s work area. I would also like more of a defined are for all of my garden supplies

  7. How would I improve our garage? Oh, this one is easy. I would load up all eight trillion boxes of junk that my husband has collected since he was gestating in the womb, drive to the dump, and toss them over the side. Then I’d hang organizers, shelves, drawers, etc for what’s left.( About three things if it was up to me.)

  8. while I’m thankful we have a garage, it shows the decades of use. I would love to have new doors that do not have gaps that allow snow to blow in. That would keep the bedrooms above the garage so much warmer.

  9. i’d finish insulating and paneling the lower garage, repaint (in spring) an old St. Charles steel sink unit to use as a work surface and storage.

  10. We don’t have a garage just a basement where we keep all if our tools etc. So we coil get a garage.

  11. Boy, does our garage need improvement. I’d love to get an organization and cabinet system that helps me hang up bikes, keep toys organized, keep tools organized and basically clean it up. Right now, our garage has gotten so out of hand, that we can’t even park a car in it.
    Thanks so much.

  12. I have the basic garage, but don’t have any plug-ins or shelves, or a place to store anything, just pull cars in and park them.

  13. So embarrassing! I need a grief counselor, life coach and hazmat team to march me into my garage and force me to winnow through the 20+ years of accumulation and simply reorganize it. It’s supposed to be like a toolchest, not a haunted museum. I really have all the storage facility (shelves, cabinets, racks and bins) necessary- it’s just the daunting task of sorting, choosing, donating and ditching I need to do.

  14. The main improvement our garage would need is tearing down this one to build a brand new one. Mice ate through the ancient electricity wires and started a fire so now the old one is no longer usable. Brand new wiring would be the first improvement we’d make after that.

  15. I don’t currently have a garage living in an apartment but I guarantee I could improve my porch (which is where I do all my ‘garage’ type work with tools) with a Lowes gift certificate! I could get a new drill (the old one is pitiful), I could get a sawhorse and a bunch of other things to help out.

  16. I would improve the garage by having some sort of drainage put in because with all the snow we are ending up with lots of water sitting on the floor of the garage that has to be swept out!!

  17. We have a 3 car garage that my husband shares with our three young daughters and all of their toys! I would love for him to have a space all his own to relax in!

  18. I would love to redo the shelving so I can store more things more efficiently, and to redo the concrete surface – I’ve seen some great looking kits. Thank you for the giveaway!

  19. I’d put in some nice shelves and a new workbench…instead of the old drawers from a waterbed frame.

  20. Our garage could use a good overhaul. I;d like to have cabinets all around the walls and a nice, big worktable for my husband.

  21. We could use some storage for our tools and other garage kept things. Anything would have to make it look better than it does now. Just no organization right now.

  22. I don’t have a garage but I would buy a nice new auto garage opener. I would make sure to change the security code often.

  23. I would love to have a garage to do something too, but we are suppose to put one up this year and I would put lots of shelving in it

  24. I need to clean the mess out of the garage, and then I would like to put a pool table out there!

    txhottie_86 at yahoo dot com

  25. basically anything would improve my garage – I’d start with cleaning all the junk out and installing some shelves so I could put it all back in neatly

  26. I would improve my garage with built-in cabinets. The shelves in the garage are currently full of stuff and look messy. Thanks for the chance to win the awesome prize!

  27. My garage is a disaster. It is our storage facility and no cars fit in there. First I’d get rid of junk then we’d get organizational shelves and jazz the whole thing up! I want room for our vehicles.

  28. We just moved into our new home, and I would have someone come in and clean it from top to bottom; because it smells like something died in there.

  29. i would love to put in some shelves and a padding to cover the floor. I need to also put in some racks to hang stuff up. it’s startign to get cluttered

  30. I would improve our garage by having Husband CLEAN IT! And get rid of cardboard. And put things back where they belong. Then we need to wire it for higher voltage to run a compressor; and hang his beer signs on the walls so they turn on when you turn on the ceiling lights.

  31. I want to seal and paint the floor with this cool paint that you put down then sprinkle these color flecks on the wet paint and I think you seal it afterwards. It is very pretty and makes the garage look more like a room. I would also like to put up shelving for organization.

  32. Well, I wish I had a garage to improve … that would be great. If I had one, I would add more shelving/organizing space.

  33. I would put shelves and cupboards all around the edges. Then, I would put a couple rows of shelves in the 3rd car section for extra food storage.

    1. Oops, I should have said I clicked on the Facebook like button and then I wrote on your Facebook fan page that I get my gas at Phillips 66.
      Sorry for my mistake.

  34. I would improve our garage by making better use of space. We have very high ceilings that would be a great area for hanging racks. There is a large area in the back that would be great for cabinets and I’d love shelves along the walls. We have too much stuff and not enough money to pay for organizing.

  35. What i would do to improve my garage is get some organizer shelves, bins and baskets etc. To get it all clean and well kept.

  36. To improve the garage,
we need to make shelves, put up pegboard, and organize…

I can imagine the possoibilities, can’t wait until Spring to begin!

  37. I would improve my garage by adding additional storage bins to hold all our holiday decorations which must be store in there.

    pavanco1 at embarqmail dot com

  38. My garage desperately needs organizing, I would install shelving, wall racks to hang the rakes, weed trimmer, extension cords and would pressure wash the concrete and put a stain on it.

  39. One word: STORAGE! My husband has tools everywhere and needs a big tool box to keep them in so is how we would use our gift card if we were to win!

  40. I’d buy a couple of shelves to organize all the crap and power tools that are sitting out there that my husband has and doesn’t use (trust me, I’m NOT married to the Tool Guy! lol)
    buddhistmom at gmail dot com

  41. This is for my mom. Her 52 yr old garage doesn’t have any insulation. Her washer and dryer are out there and need better venting. And, of course, she could use shelving/storage.

  42. I would buy organizer shelving units and finally get all that stuff off the ground and onto the walls. Then maybe I could park in the garage!

  43. I would improve my garage by repainting and adding more storage – We also need new garage doors and windows in it….thanks for the chance to win!!!

    dan_jody at

  44. I’d improve my garage by getting a good roof (airtight, no leaks), some insulation/finished walls so I could heat a bit in winter and have it accomplish something and then fill it with good tools! Not too much to ask, is it?

  45. I would like to improve my garage by adding some great organization tools: shelving units and nice cabinets as well getting a new door that worked better. Thanks for the chance! :)

  46. I would coat the floor with epoxy and add storage to the walls. I would love to make it wider to fit two cars and deeper to give more room for tools.

  47. I would give the inside of the garage a fresh coat of paint. I would also add some hooks so that I hang our bikes and tools better.

  48. I would improve my garage by buying anything I can that will help organize the stuff I already have in there. I would also get rid of old tools and ancient equipment and replace them. There’s too many possibilities!

  49. I would like to improve the garage by replacing the back door and window. I need to put in a french drain near the backdoor to alleviate flooding.

  50. I would like to add shelves and organizational bins so that we would be able to find everything easily.

  51. Ok first off I want to say what a great sweeps this is!!!! and I would really really love just to win this for my husband he has a small Shed he calls his garage but needless to say he cant park his vehicles in it but it is his pride and joy because it is his!! but he has always dreamed of having a BIG garage and boy would this be the best present ever If I won this. TY so much for the chance to win :O) GodBless and be safe?

  52. some kids burned my garage down several years ago. i need a garage. I life in Mn and it would be great to not have to clean the car off aftersnow

  53. I would improve my garage by installing a brand new shelving system. The one we have now is old and made of rotting wood– inherited from the previous owners. This would be such a blessing! Thanks for the chance to enter!

  54. We have a building we’ve been thinking of converting into a garage for a while now. We would start by installing a garage door and replacing a window.

  55. Oh goodness gracious, the north east corner of my garage is a black hole. we kept piling things we didnt want to toss but didnt want in the house towards that direction and now its a massive pile from floor to ceiling… no exaggeration. so i think… id like an amazing shelfing system to get that sorted out.. new floor… the works. my garage it needs help. thanks for the opportunity to win, thank you state farm too!

    abitnerdygirl [at] gmail [dot] com

  56. One way, and probably the biggest way, is to expand it to a 2 car garage because right now it’s only a one car garage. I would add more storage and shelving and make it more appealing to the eye.
    hendymartin1 AT yahoo DOT com

  57. Our garage will have some pegboard to hand all of our tools, shelves and containers to manage all the sports equipment and space to park at least one of our cars! So many ideas “when” we win!

  58. Well our garage is actually my husband’s studio but we have always thought it would be helpful to have a half bathroom put in. When he retires he says it’s going to be his ManCave – our poor cars stay parked in our driveway or out front of the house : ( I think he’s practicing for retirement now though – he uses his computer to watch YouTube and Football Games-sometimes I don’t see him all day : D

  59. My parents built an addition leading to the garage from the home which they needed for their business and the lowe’s card would help with the additional work that needs to be done. They already spend a lot of money at Lowe’s for supplies. LeanS12(at)gmail(dot)com

  60. I would improve my garage by cleaning out all the junk we don’t use and/or doen’t work any more.
    carolkfoster at comcast dot net

  61. I really need to put up shelves in my garage….things are just piled up now…and it needs a new coat of paint. :-) Thank you for hosting this amazing giveaway!

  62. Ours is an old piece of crud, so to improve it I think we’d have to tear it down and start over. Ours needs a new roof, a new door, some insulation and it is too small.

  63. Definitly more storage and being able to organize things better so we can find what we need. I’d love to build some shelving.

    bakergurl02 (at) yahoo (dot) com

  64. I would first have the drywall patched and painted. We started this a few years ago but found we weren’t very good at it and haven’t done anything since. I would also put up some ceiling storage units and paint the floor.

  65. To improve my garage, I’d have to start by simply having one!! I would love to have a garage, be able to get my stuff out of storage, and keep my car warm and dry in the winter!!

  66. I would improve my garage by getting a lot of organizational tools to straighten up all the clutter and mess. I might also paint in there to add a little color and brighten it up.

  67. Sounds like a winner! Lowes is where I shop for all my home improvement needs and gas is an unfortunate necessity until I can retire and invent a hoverboard or something. Thanks for the giveaway.

  68. I would improve our garage by getting hanging bike racks so that the bikes would be out of the way and we would have more floor space.

  69. I need to resurface the garage floor and paint the walls in there. I’d love to turn this into a space where I can do projects.

  70. I would improve our garage by adding more shelving and storage to get things off the floor. Thank you for the lovely giveaway.
