Monster Giveaway – Win an Apple iPad
Over here in Oregon, one in ten people are unemployed. The job market is super tough in the Pacific Northwest. That’s exactly the reason Monster.com launched their Success Stories campaign. They want to let people know that even in a challenging economy, dads and moms are still finding great jobs on Monster. The Monster multimedia campaign is an effort to encourage hope and optimism through the sharing of successful job-search stories and practical advice. And if you submit a career tip or success story to the Monster community, you will be entered in the iPad giveaway on my dad blog (thank you, Monster.com). I’m actually jealous because I can’t win the super cool Apple iPad. Not fair!
There are three steps to enter my Apple iPad giveaway:
- Submit a career tip or a success story to the Monster community
- Tag your submission with Daddy Forever
- Leave a comment in my comments area below to let me know you made a submission to Monster.com

- Click on the Facebook like button below and then write on my Facebook fan page about your dream job
- Use the Tweet button below to tweet about the giveaway and include the giveaway URL (or @daddyforever) and #giveaway in the tweet (include your Twitter URL or username for verification)
Helpful Info
- The Monster.com submission can be text (500 characters max), photo (jpg, gif, png), or video (2 minutes or under, and less than 35 MB)
- The deadline to enter my giveaway is Tuesday, October 26th (Pacific time)
- Warning! Don’t wait until the last day to enter — I reserve the right to end my giveaway early
- My Apple iPad giveaway is open to USA readers only
- The winner will be randomly selected, but we will check to make sure you made a submission to Monsters.com
- The prize given away on my dad blog is a 16gb Wi-Fi iPad ($499 value)
- Monster.com is also giving away prizes on their site (such as laptop; printer/copier/scanner combo; $5,000 gift card)

I added an interview tip to monster, which addresses being relaxed in an interview while avoiding informality. Oh, and I really want an ipad and it isn’t in the budget at all. I’ll use it to do great things, which you can totally take credit for.
I had to log in on my phone as it would not do to browse Monster.com at work, but I made a post in the interview tips and tagged it appropriately. Hope it helps the community.
