State Farm and Major League Baseball Giveaway
Two announcements today on my dad blog — both related to State Farm Insurance (Facebook | Twitter) and Major League Baseball (MLB). First, I want to let you know I’m giving away a $100 Sports Authority gift card on my dad blog (thank you State Farm and MLB). Second, you can win a 3-day/2-night trip to the 2010 World Series (including air fare and hotel). Not only can you win a trip for two, you can also help out a charity of your choice. I don’t know which teams will be in the World Series this year, but I know it won’t be the Seattle Mariners (Portland is too tiny to have a MLB team — we can’t even afford sunshine for more than two months out of the year).

State Farm has teamed up with Major League Baseball to give dads and moms a chance to attend the 2010 World Series. In the contest, dads and moms will also go to bat for their favorite charity. To win, play the online Home Run Derby game and select a charity you would like to go to bat for. Once a week, for ten weeks, State Farm will select a winner and their charity. The winner’s charity will receive a donation ($100 for every home run hit that week in MLB) and the winner will receive a trip for two to the 2010 World Series. The World Series trip consists of round-trip coach air transportation for two people, two (2) night standard double-occupancy hotel accommodations, ground transportation to/from the airport/hotel/games, and two (2) tickets for Games 3 and 4 of the 2010 MLB World Series championship. The deadline to enter is September 26, 2010.

Thanks to State Farm and Major League Baseball, I’m giving away a $100 Sports Authority gift card on my dad blog. The deadline to enter is Wednesday, August 4th (Pacific time). Participants must be legal residents of the U.S. or Canadian provinces of Alberta, New Brunswick or Ontario, and must be 18+ at time of entry to participate. The winner will be randomly selected.
