Barbara’s Bakery Giveaway and Contest
This is a two-for-one blog post special about Barbara’s Bakery — a giveaway on my dad blog and a contest on their website (Natural Makeover Contest). Barbara’s Bakery (Facebook) makes all-natural cereals and snacks that are free of artificial preservatives and ingredients, hydrogenated oils, and refined white sugar. I’m not a health nut, but because of my high blood pressure and the toddler’s food allergies, I do scan the ingredients and nutritional information listed on food products. In the case of Barbara’s Bakery Puffins cereal (wheat and diary free, no cholesterol or trans fat, vegetarian and Kosher, and low in sodium), it’s something the little one and I can both enjoy and eat without causing us to implode.

Barbara’s Bakery is celebrating their 40th birthday with a natural makeover contest. The grand prize is a trip for two (2) to Napa Valley, California and a four-hour consultation with celebrity nutritionist Cheryl Forberg, RD. The trip includes round-trip coach class air transportation, hotel accommodations (4-day/3-night, one room, double occupancy), and four-day use of a mid-size rental car. Other prizes include $500 worth of natural groceries and a year’s supply of Barbara’s natural cereals and snacks. To enter, all you have to do is submit a video or photo sharing your family’s worst food habits, your questions about eating natural foods, or what you’ve done to try and change your family’s habits. The deadline to enter is November 30, 2010.
Barbara’s Bakery Giveaway on Daddy Forever
Thanks to Barbara’s Bakery, I’m giving away a prize pack on my dad blog. The prize pack consists of a tote bag, beanie Puffin, full-sized boxes of Puffins Original and Shredded Oats cereals, and five sample-sized cereal bags [Update: the samples are not part of the prize pack — sorry!]. The deadline to enter is Monday, August 2nd (Pacific time). The contest is limited to the USA. The winner will be randomly selected.
