Usually kids put every thing in their mouths. My granddaughter likes to shred things I think its a feeding reflex like pull a piece of something from a tree and see how it tastes. But your comment made me think of something... We gave my daughter a kitten who would not eat. She had to force feed it. Once it figured out she was giving it food it went crazy and gobbled it down, but each and everytime had to be force fed at first till she got about half grown. My daughter thinks that she can't smell and therefore probably can't taste. I wonder if that could have something to do with Baby Disneys lack of interest in food. Perhaps his sense of smell and tate are not fully developed somehow. Happy V Day and WW to you and family.
